BAKED GINGER PUDDING

A reassuringly large, sticky pudding using BAKERS Ginger Nuts®! Best eaten warm on the day it’s made…not that you’d need any excuse!

Serves 8

ingredients

2 x 200 g packets of BAKERS Ginger Nuts®

65 ml preserved ginger, finely chopped

750 ml fresh cream

45 ml Demerara sugar

For serving

fresh cream or vanilla ice-cream

instructions

  1. Pre-heat oven to 180 ºC.
  2. Break the BAKERS Ginger Nuts® into coarse pieces and place in a greased oven-safe pie dish.
  3. Sprinkle with the preserved ginger pieces and pour the cream over.
  4. Bake in the oven for 20 – 30 minutes.
  5. Sprinkle with the Demerara sugar and serve warm with vanilla ice-cream.

65 ml fyngekapte ingelegde gemmerstukke

750 ml room

45 ml demerara suiker

 

instruksies

  1. Breek die BAKERS Ginger Nuts® in stukkies en sit in ’n gesmeerde oondvaste tertbak.
  2. Besprinkel met die gemmerstukkies en giet die room oor.
  3. Bak in ’n voorverhitte oond teen 180 ºC vir 20 minute.
  4. Strooi demerara suiker bo-oor en bedien warm saam met vanieljeroomys.
