MUESLI TOPPED APPLE CRUMBLE
Not only do the new BAKERS® Good Morning™ Muesli Rusks deliver dunkable goodness – they can also be used as a crunchy topping to this delicious and easy dessert!
10 – 12 Bakers Good Morning™ Muesli Rusks
4 Granny Smith or Pinkladt applies, peeled and cored being chunked
3 tablespoons demerara sugar
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
100 g almonds, roughly chopped
3 tablespoons butter, melted
1 can evaporated milk
- Add the apples to a mixing bowl along with the sugar and cinnamon tossing together to coat well. Pour the mix into an oven proof dish before preparing the topping.
- Crush the Good Morning™ Rusks and add to the mixing bowl along with the almonds and butter.
- Toss to coat well before sprinkling over the apples. Place the dish in an oven preheated 180 to bake for 15 – 20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve in bowls and drizzle the evaporated milk over before serving.
