MUESLI TOPPED APPLE CRUMBLE

Not only do the new BAKERS® Good Morning™ Muesli Rusks deliver dunkable goodness – they can also be used as a crunchy topping to this delicious and easy dessert!

 

ingredients

10 – 12 Bakers Good Morning™ Muesli Rusks

4 Granny Smith or Pinkladt applies, peeled and cored being chunked

3 tablespoons demerara sugar

1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

100 g almonds, roughly chopped

3 tablespoons butter, melted

1 can evaporated milk

instructions

  1. Add the apples to a mixing bowl along with the sugar and cinnamon tossing together to coat well. Pour the mix into an oven proof dish before preparing the topping.
  2. Crush the Good Morning™ Rusks and add to the mixing bowl along with the almonds and butter. 
  3. Toss to coat well before sprinkling over the apples. Place the dish in an oven preheated 180 to bake for 15 – 20 minutes or until golden brown. 
  4. Serve in bowls and drizzle the evaporated milk over before serving.
