Bakers Salticrax can be used to create this Mexican favourite! Nachos Grande!! Smothered in cheese and served up with sour cream.... who’s not going to love this spicy mince dish?
24 Bakers SALTICRAX, Mediterranean flavour
500 ml prepared savoury mince
325 ml grated cheddar cheese
1 – 2 green chillies, seeded and finely chopped
125 ml thick sour cream
125 ml finely chopped tomato
1 avocado, diced and sprinkled with
whole coriander leaves
Directions Arrange the Bakers SALTICRAX on a baking sheet and top with the savoury mince. Combine the cheese and chillies and sprinkle over the meat. Grill until the cheese melts and remove from the oven. Top with the rest of the Ingredients in the order given above and serve.
Makes 24 Nachos Grande portions.
PS: It goes without saying that the better the savoury mince tastes, the better the Nachos Grande will taste. So take trouble with the mince and add loads of flavour by way of herbs, garlic and tomato paste.
