STUFFED EGGS WITH CRISP BACON TOPPING

Create a stir on the snack tray with these ‘egg’-ceptional little treats, using our famous BAKERS Kips® crackers, they’re simple to make and just delicious to eat!

Makes 24

ingredients

50 g (¼ pack) BAKERS Kips® Bacon flavoured crackers

4 rashers streaky bacon

45 ml finely chopped parsley

12 hardboiled eggs, shelled

30 ml fresh cream

45 ml mayonnaise

15 ml tomato sauce

10 ml Worcester sauce

salt and milled black pepper

 

instructions

  1. Chop the BAKERS Kips® crackers coarsely and set aside. Fry or grill the bacon until very crisp. Drain on kitchen paper and chop finely.
  2. In a bowl, combine the bacon, crackers and parsley and set aside.
  3. Halve the eggs, remove the yolks and place them in a mixing bowl.
  4. Arrange the whites on a serving platter.
  5. Mash the egg yolks and add the cream, mayonnaise, tomato and Worcester sauce and season well with salt and pepper.
  6. Mix thoroughly and pipe or spoon the mixture into the egg whites.
  7. Sprinkle with the bacon topping and serve.
